Inspired by Kenbo

After seeing the cut outs Kenbo did on his scroll saw I wanted to make one. I printed the picture of google and traced it onto a chunk of 1x10 oak. I have been working on it for the last couple of days and I'm glad I'm done with it.

That looks great. I think you should glue it to a dark piece of wood like walnut so the detail shows up and hang it on your wall.

I have to say that I'm flattered that I inspired you. It's odd to me that I would inspire anyone but if what I inspire is the type of work that you have pictured here, then I'm glad I did. That's absolutely beautiful. Fantastic work.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

That is a fine looking piece. The suggestion to back it with a darker wood is spot on.

Kenbo, my friend, you inspire a lot of us to try new things and improve our skills. You also give us many hours of pleasure watching your projects come together.

If Woodworking is so much fun why isn't it called WoodFUNNING?

I've made a few videos
