Does anyone here think that I am anything other than a woodworker? If you doubt what I am, please speak up now and I will stop proclaiming what I am. Self proclaimed!! Really?
Mmmmmm..... IDK... self proclaimed, maybe not, woodworker yes... Any which way, I'm the only *** hole here so it doesn't really matter, lol

Kenbo, don't let the OP get under your skin! If you do he wins. I've only been on here for a short time but QUICKLY realized that you are a woodworker with amazing talent. I aspire and I imagine others do, to develop a mere sliver of your skill. Your tutorials are truly inspirational.

All the OP would of had to do was lurk around and he would get all the info he needed in a short time!

In all seriousness though, Kenbo, my first red flag was "I have a lot of experience"...

Ok, of you have so much dang'd experience why the F are you asking me for tips & tricks???!

I may be an a$$ hole to most people, but for the most part I try to be nice here... unless you on the johnray list...

Thanks for the kind words, and just to clarify, the OP didn't get under my skin. I think that it is kind of laughable that he calls us "self proclaimed woodworkers". If he would have stuck around long enough, he would have seen that we don't have to proclaim anything............our work speaks volumes.
I guess my sarcasm wasn't conveyed in my post. Thanks just the same.

I understand and appreciate much of the opinions and concerns stated, but others were without merit and reason, many presumptuous and condescending, and some downright rude.
I wasn't trying to pull anything over on anyone or steal information. I wasn't trying to get anyone to write me a book, or write volumes for me. I didn't have any secret ulterior motive. I wasn't trying to say the idea of compiling a how to book on carpentry was an original one, I think we can all agree that would be preposterous. It is worth saying, though, that there already being books on a subject hasn't stopped the last 1000 authors from writing books on a subject, and it shouldn't. My only intention was as I stated from the beginning, and as I've clarified in my responses. While of course the ideas were not completely developed (as the development of the ideas were the reason behind the thread) I have been somewhat thorough in explaining some of my ideas and the direction I was trying to go. Clearly something about my approach, and my lack of a crystal clear goal rubbed some people the wrong way, for that I am sorry. I am not sorry, however, for my endeavor, or for coming to a public woodworking forum and asking for some fellow woodworkers to share some of their tips and knowledge. Again, thank those of you that were welcoming and helpful, even those of you that disagreed, but had something constructive to offer, but to the others, you have successfully turned me away from your forum, and truthfully offended me personally. I respectively will cease any further posts. Thank you.
Did anyone even read this?
I didn't/am not leaving just because I didn't get what I asked. I am leaving because you're all a bunch of ass holes. Why would I want to be a contributing member to a forum full of unwelcoming, untrusting, condescending **** talking douche bags?

Without getting involved in an online war, I have to say that we did read your post. The only one losing out here by you leaving, is you. I would also like to point out, that you are pretty quick to slam the members of this forum. Even lowering yourself to name calling. No one has called you any names or treated you poorly, they were only being honest with you and you lashed out. Read your posts again. Every one has a snide comment or remark and now your last post is nothing more than childish. I will bow out of this thread now for fear of lowering myself to the level that you have lowered yourself to. I wish you well.

geez, dude. You can't even stick true to your own words... Are your promises worth anything?

And yet you have the audacity to criticize us?

Go do your homework, Jr... This so-called "public forum" will eat you up an spit you out in a heart beat.

With the thousands of members here the only ones who ever defended your immaturity are the same ones you lash out on.

Go kill a couple dozen in the name of freedom and country (or have your balls drop otherwise) then come back and talk to us...

Well, by reading this thread I see there is an etiquette I missed.

But, I really want to thank those that did answer my questions and let you know that when i have pics of something im not too embarrased to show, i'll post them.
I really enjoy the pics and posts and have learned a great deal from all.
Thanks again Dave

We all like pictures but no worries... most everyone here is willing to help those with honest questions and a decent attitude.

Post up some pics when you can but don't be embarrassed of your work!
