how to add feet to a cabinet
Hi all,
Building an entertainment stand and I need to add feet to the unit. I'm trying to do it without buying the metal plates... but how? I thought about drilling a forstner bit hole the depth of a nut and then epoxy it into place. Would this work? I need 14 feet in total (the unit has a few pieces..), so buying the plates will get expensive after a while.

well, I found a 4 pack for $8 so that may be the way I go... but would the nut w/ epoxy idea work? If I ever need to use that in the future

You might also look at dowel screws. Many sofa legs and bun feet are attached with dowel screws.
If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when will you have time to do it over?

Unless you need the feet removable I would just dowel them on.
