Home Depot dropping Delta?

I just received an email offer from Home Depot with sale prices on all Delta heavy shop tools. The offer says "on-line exclusive 20% off - while supplies last". That "while supplies last" statement is usually an indicator that the line is changing or Home Depot is dropping the line. Considering all the bad chatter I've been hearing about Delta service since the buyout, my guess is Home Depot is dropping the Delta line.
Thoughts?

I think "while supplies last" is a pretty common limitation, as they will not be giving rain checks.

I dont think delta is going anywhere... they just released a whole line of table saws.

might HD be dropping them? maybe... I dont recall seeing a very large floor presence in HD for them. though that more tells me why drop them? if its just some warehouse space for the online orders, no biggie right?

PS. they only have 10% off their drill press, 20% off on some other tools.

It's online only, and my guess is drop shipped from the supplier. Id be surprised if they're dropping them from their online program.

The tools don't make the craftsman....

I wasn't aware home depot carried delta. I thought they had an agreement with Lowes. Anyway, I wouldnt put too much stock into everybody saying they suck since the buyout. The biggest issue there is parts availability, but hey, a new tool shouldn't need parts for a long while yet. If you have a Lowes in the area I would see home depot dropping delta as a big issue. If you don't have a Lowes though, weep. Delta tools are still pretty solid, I wouldnt trade my contractor saw from them for another brand

The local HD's and Lowes here dont carry any Delta, with the very single exception being the new contractor TS at Lowes.

If youre talking about online well you can get Delta stuff anywhere. I doubt seriously that HD is not selling Delta online anymore.

I doubt that, their heavy equipment is pretty much all brand new table saws, they ARE new models. and the drill press which is arguably the best on the market.

The planer could use a redo I suppose. but thats the extend of whats on sale from what I see. Mortiser doesnt make the cut.

I've posted before how much I like my Delta Contractors Table Saw, but I've not been happy with my Delta Bandsaw. (Weak)

All of the Home Depots around here quit selling all large shop tools 20 years ago. I tried to special order a Ridgid table saw years ago and they couldnít even do that. I think Lowes sell a Delta Drill press and I donít think anybody sell band saws or table saws except Sears.
