Help with swivel mirror.

I thought I had just finished building a swivel mirror Jewelry cabinet for my wife. However, once it was placed on carpet and she open the door it nearly fell forward under the weight of the mirror. I'm contemplating adding to the legs in order to keep it from falling forward. I'm curious if there is a standard formula out there for height weight to legs ratio. I can attach pictures if I need to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your problem stems from the pivot point being off centered to the frame. There isn't really anything you can do about it now. I'm thinking the only solution might be to add weight to the bottom of it.

You need to make the feet longer.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

I'm hoping that making the feet longer will help. The only way I could fix the pivot point would be to build a whole new stand.
