Hardwood in Dallas?

I am new to woodworking and live in the Dallas metro area...are there good local sources of rough cut red oak, maple, poplar? I see several listings in the yellow pages. Any opinions?

Woods of Mission Timber in Sanger, north of Denton, usually has good stock of rough oak, cedar, mesquite, cypress, and many other domestics. Link: http://www.woodsofmissiontimber.com/ . They have always been really nice and it is the only place in Dallas I have actually bought wood from a business. They have a price and availability sheet in the store, they just don't post it on the 'net. Sometimes they have some cool stuff from around the country, just depends if they found a deal worth shipping to Texas. They cut their own wood except for the oak. Craigslist has also been good to me in DFW, lots of rich guys bought an entire shop and $1000's in wood only to find a new hobby 6 months later. I know there are some stores down in the metro area, but I have never used them other than the Woodcraft stores. PM me if you want some oak or maple, I have to much right now.
