Guitar build 2018

So a little brief introduction . Iíve been playing guitar for around 9 years and always wanted to build my own guitar but something was stopping me . Last year my landlord was was great to support my weird idea . I like to so much I decided to do it again this year . This time Iím using nicer woods the woods Iím using are walnut ,macascar ebony , and cocobolo .the body is walnut , the neck will be walnut with a macascar ebony fingerboard , and the pick guard(scratch plate) will be cocobolo. Presently I only have the body. In the next few weeks Iím gonna buy the pickguard. All the parts will be unfinished so I can have more of a hands on experience .

Very nice! I keep saying I want to make some electric bodies even though I don't play electric - I'm an acoustic guy all the way around. But I like the idea of making the bodies. What neck will you use? Are you going to wind your own pickups?

I read that in your initial post but really was curious if you were making the neck or buying it - should have phrased that differently.

Buying. I live in a small appartment and don't have many tools. I would love to do one straight from scratch but unfortunately I don't have have the resources
