I would make a new posts in the Dust Collection forum.

You need to provide guidance. Dust collector - bag or cannister, or cyclone. Do you have 220V available or need to use 110V, which impacts the HP of motor you can run.

Lots of threads worth reviewing in the Dust Collection forum.

FYI, I have the Jet Cannister, 1 1/2HP motor and was interested in the vortex.

I started to build my own since Jet will not sell the cone to existing owners.

I ended up making a Thien baffle. I think this works better than the cone. It is also very easy to make and retrofit. For me three holes and screws.

I have good airflow and suction with my 1 1/2HP unit which is presently set to 110V but can be rewired to 220V. I do not have an airflow meter but I can tell the suction improved with the Thien baffle.

The 2HP is likely 220V.
