Glueing Gray and White PVC

I’m working on a project where I’ll be glueing Gray PVC electrical conduit together using White PVC plumbing fittings. The fittings are pool fittings, so they’re deeper than regular schedule 40 fittings.

Best I can tell, they’re both PVC so PVC cement should work, but I thought it might be worth checking.

It’s not a plumbing project, so the joints don’t need to be watertight, but they do need to be strong.

Any thoughts or advice?

Been there done that, and they are different, and the glue/solvent won't hold up to water pressure over time. As for what you are doing, it may be good enough.

The PVC adhesives will work fine for both. Since there is no pressurized water there wouldn't be an issue with mixing the two.

Use an all purpose glue that works on both.
