Evening out stool legs

I built a stool and it has a little wobble somewhere in the 4 leg design.

Does anyone have any tricks for leveling out the legs of a stool/chair to correct the wobble? Thank you

Place the stool on a flat surface. You need some tapered shims, like a piece of wood shingle. A level on the seat can be handy but you can just eyeball it. Slide the shims under the shorter leg/legs until it doesn't rock. The thickness of the shim necessary under the shortest leg is the amount you have to cut off the others. Cut a piece that thickness then use it to scribe around the legs touching down. We would loan you the board stretcher but somebody didn't return it.
