Endgrain sanding cracks

In my overzealous mood to finish a purpleheart end grain cutting board
I overheated with the belt sander and some minor cracks appeared.
They don't go through.

Is this anything to be worried about or just hope for the best they are cosmetic ?
Guess I have no choice now, lol

The glue joints look normal to me. I would worry more about the end checking on some of the pieces.

not sure but would be very dry,
the wood was brought from guyana cut already and stayed pretty straight and
was in the seller's lumber yard for at least a year.
I live in tropical Trinidad.
I might hit the cracks with some thin viscosity ca glue.
