This is a first sign that your relatives have sent out scouts to determine if they should ask to move into your house and the extra place in the shop. We at the Talk est that these relatives are from your wife's side of the family. Be on the lookout for minivans or trucks without tailgates....those are relatives destined for your shop.

Nothing to worry about - "extra space" is something that doesn't exist in our shop. Not even "adequate space", perhaps the key word is "crammed". Ditto on the house.

Two days ago we got rid of a bunch of active wasp nests all around the outside of our house. We have both paper wasps and mudpotter wasps. The nest in your photo looks like the kind our mudpotter wasps make.

Both kinds of wasps are black and yellow, but slightly different. We don't have the beautiful blue ones like the photo above.

It has been a banner year for wasps around here. For some reason, we have had way more wasp nests than usual this season.

I've never seen a bug like that before, and I'm only the next state over from ya. But I've seen plenty of those mud nests.
