Drying lumber.

Three weeks ago I put some air dried red oak I milled out last year in my shop. I put it on a shelf, eight feet up and stickered it. My shop has a modine blower for heat hooked up to my outdoor boiler.

When I out this lumber in it measured 13% moisture. Pulled some down yesterday to make some trim and checked a cut off piece, basically the middle of a 4/4x8 and it measured 5.6%! It's almost like I have my own little dry kiln in my shop. I can fit almost 200 bf on those two shelves. Definitely a good deal seeing as how we Mill all our own lumber.

I stack mine in a sheet metal building in the Texas heat, it dries it out pretty fast during the summer

But it sounds like you have a pretty good set up
