Butcher Blocks

Can anyone tell me what the numbers mean that are stamped in the bottom of an antique Butcher Block? Hoping to find out when it was made. The one I have is stamped 54 20. All I know is that it came out of a small meat market shop that a friend’s Grandfather owned in the sixties.
