Wow. That's almost too gorgeous to use. I only WISH I had a bench like that. Absolutely gorgeous.
Fantastic work.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

Absolutely gorgeous. Bubinga? Wow, I think I would use that thing as my dinning room table. Way to nice to scratch. If you haven't figure it out, I am jealous.

You are all too kind! Burb, if you ever make it back to Tucson, stop in to my shop, Audio 2000. I'm on Speedway just east of Swan. That's the benches home along with plenty of other projects.

What's funny is, none of the furniture in the house is my work. SWMBO likes that pine rustic Spanish style furniture, you know.....firewood. IMNSHO

BTW, if I can ever be of any help on anyone's bench project, just say the word. My inspiration comes from all of your projects and ideas so thank you all, (it's all your fault.)

I know exactly where that it. When I was in Tucson, I was a USAF contractor on base while my brother was there getting ready to retire. We spent a lot of weekends at the USA Race Park dirt track by the landfill on the South of town. We did a lot of volunteering at the track involving on-air stuff, promoting, and fan-involvement for Pat & Lynn, the owners.

I really miss Tucson. When I was headed there I didn't think I'd like it much. Turns out its my favorite place I've lived so far.

As for that Spanish-style furniture, I never cared for that either. Didn't like the houses that way, but the food is another story.
