Brrrr....

After work today I tried to go out to the shop and work... but it is just way too cold out there.

Looks like more research on the interweb.

That's one thing I don't miss about Minnesota! Much warmer here in Denver this week.

Worked in itmost of the day standin on a forklift platform between 20 and 30 feet up. The day started at 10 above and went to 4 above without windchill. Just another beautifull day in MN.

yeah, it's been no more than 25 here for the past few days. I have a small baseboard heater in my shop which keeps it at 60 most of the time. But when it gets cold like this, it's down around 40. So I whip out my little propane heater and it gets up to 50 in about an hour, if the sun is out it'll make 60 by mid afternoon. I do NOT like the cold, so I'm hoping this cold snap ends soon. I'm working on a project for my kid that I was supposed to have done in December, so have to be out there.

It was so beautiful this weekend. Went out with the dog at night, no jacket and thought "this is pretty nice for January!" Then it got cold. This morning I got a flat on the way to work. Changed the tire in 13 degrees, business attire. That sucked. Then my (later) train was delayed nearly two hours because a bridge was stuck, frozen in the up position. grrrrr

I don't know what you guys are complaining about... sheesh.. it was so cold here this morning that I actually had to wear a flannel shirt over my "T" shirt to bring in the garbage cans.

If Woodworking is so much fun why isn't it called WoodFUNNING?

A word from New Hampshire where it's never hot or cold but always seasonal. When the weather is like this you have to change your attitude. It's mind over matter and when you have a little mind like myself, nothing matters.

Its' never hot or cold in New Hampshire... its' always seasonal.
