Bought a workbench
Well I had to buy this work bench. It was on sale AND I had a coupon to make it $20 less than the sale price. Original price was $229, on sale for $159, and I got it for $139.

Yes it's the one that Horrible Freight sells. I just couldn't pass it up for the price.

I am building one and I already have all the pieces cut but no time to finish it. I have a big order I am working on and I have enlisted my kids to help so I needed work space now!

Its pretty nice for a small work bench. It's oak hardwood. It has dog holes and comes with pegs for them and the vise. It will be great for sanding and glue ups of small stuff.

The coupon was on Harbor Freights facebook page. The bench is on sale right now until the 31st for the $139 price.

Not bad looking and for the price.
Probably would cost more to build it from scratch.

I've had the same one for a year and love it. I plan to get one more to put back to back for twice the work space on bulky projects, and extra storage it provides. Or I can put them end to end for long projects. The drawers are nice to keep commonly used tools close to the work area like a hammer and chisels. It's one of the nicer things they do sell. I haven't found the bench dogs very useful though. Seems the holes are too loose around them and let's them wobble and come out too easily. Also, the holes over the drawers should have something applied to the bottom side to keep dust and wood chips or shavings out of the drawers. You can do this during assembly with lauan plywood glued or screwed to the underside, or do what I did and apply small squares of sheet metal to the bottom over each hole using 1/4 drive hex head zip screws. I'm a home improvements contractor and I had a large supply of aluminum trim coil and zip screws on hand when I assembled my bench so this was easy, simple, and fast, and it works.

I had my 15 year old assemble it. The only thing he had issues with was getting the drawers to go in. Yes the dogs are loose. I'll be making some more on my lathe very soon.

Remember it's on sale till the 31st and that's also when the coupon expires.
