Bench dog vice/clamp
Hey everyone,

I just built my first work bench and installed my first set of dog holes. I really dont want to go through the hassle of installing a tail vice so i found this solution.

Problem is, its a little pricy fof my taste and I would guess it would be a hassle to get it to the US from the UK. Does anyone know if any companies make sonething like this at a lower price point? Google has resulted in nothing useful so I have come to ask the masters of woodworking:)

Thank you for your time,

If this doesn't take you direct to the catalogue page, it is on page 60. Veritas is a brand owned by the Canadian company, Lee Valley.

The panel clamp is using hardware also sold as bench dogs.

Shipping from the US or Canada is expensive. These would fit in what the USPS calls an International Small Flat Rate box, but even this costs $24 just for shipping.

I do not know UK woodworking sites.

Do you have the ability to drill and tap metal? If so, this is something you may be able to make from locally available hardware.
