B&D #88 Sander: Free to a Good Home or Trash?

I have a B&D model #88 finish sander that needs some repairs. Mostly, the rubber posts that hold the sanding plate need to be replaced. I guess the bearing in the center of that plate could be replaced too. As far as I know, the motor runs OK.

I picked this sander up about 50 years ago from an Army special services shop in about the same condition that it is in now. I purchased the OEM parts and got many years of use from it. It holds a 1/2 sheet of sandpaper and sands like the devil.

I am not in the mood nor do I have the time to rebuild it again. I am offering it free for anyone who would like it. But you must pay shipping in advance. I believe all the parts are there, but can not guarantee it: what I have is what you get. Here are some photos:

No takers. I guess it is trash.

You might give it more time or give your general location. Some folks treasure vintage tools and it would be a shame to trash it.

Might also mention it in the power tools section and in the classifieds on this forum.

OK. I did not notice that my location is not shown. I am in Beaumont, Texas. That is about an hour east of Houston.

I will look at those other forums. Frankly, I have no idea if this qualifies as a vintage tool but I did think that it might.
