Moderators: BOLO - new ID and link for Ted's

over on LumberJocks, I just got a hit from Ted's
using a new gimmick.
instead of posting a "click on" URL or other link,
he is using bit (.) ly/2Tu6fNM and user name RobertKings.
when you click the letters, it does nothing. but if you
copy and paste it to your search browser, it goes to Ted's Woodworking.
so BOLO for RobertKings and his signature of [B]bit (.) ly/2Tu6fNM/B]

please remove the () from around the "dot" and close the spaces after
posting in the search bar for the link to work. he has it designed so that
you can not copy and paste into the forum. (smart cookies, those guys are).

there are hundreds of "short url" domains.

users should never click on a short url/link without first determining the real destination.
there are many sites that do that.
users will also learn some short links lead to nothing but other short links, or to "providers" of short links fishing to sign you up.

the actual site may be 'contaminated' - or there is a new 'make a million with your computer' scam where the short link makes money from clicks.

The answer to your question will only be as detailed and specific as the question is detailed and specific. Good questions also include a sketch or a photo that illustrates your issue. (:< D)

I wish you had let me know you were in the area, we could have had a cup of coffee. If you came up I-24 (which I am sure you did) you were within a mile or so of our house.

By the way, gas here is $2.06 now.

Thanks Bill, I appreciate the link. I didn't know John was a swabby like me also.

Jim, on the way to Nashville you drove by Murfreesboro. You should have dropped by for free coffee.

It's kind of strange that this line was delivered in that movie of all things. It's still a really good quote, and certainly a dang good thing to remember.

At the moment here in Melbourne it is AUS$1.60/liter. That's equivalent to USD $4.09/gallon!
I'll have to give up my V8 for a scooter soon!

I go overboard with every hobby I get involved in.......no exceptions!
