keep getting logged out

It's not a big deal, but the past couple of weeks, I will log on to the forum, and within the first 2 minutes I will get logged out. Usually it is while I am typing a response to a post. I try to post my comment and have to log in again. After that, it seems to be fine. As I said, it's not a big deal, just a minor annoyance. Thought I'd pass on the feedback.

Thanks to the admins and mods for keeping this site alive and functioning.

Standard questions, Mark - what browser are you using, which operating system, have you cleared your cache, what AV/malware/spam program are you running, etc.?

We can run it up the flagpole but they'll want to know these things.

you might want to try clearing your browser cache and cookies to do a fresh test.
if you don't want to get rid of any cookies on other tabs, you can try it in incognito mode.

Hurrah! Got back in. Problem was my username had a capital but I had used lower case. My recovery password included brackets which i had to also include.
Nice to be back after break for a month or so.

Thanks for your thought, as long as I can will keep posting. 85 not out. can still do a few minor jobs. have a gardener/handyman for the rest.
I have learnt so much from this site. Most useful to me has been the much maligned pocket hols.
Happy New Year to you all over the pond.
