Gallery problems

I'm being told my image has uploaded successfully but it's not appearing in my gallery. Are the images moderated before they go up or is this a problem others have encountered?

Cheers

Andronicus, they are not moderated. I looked for your photos and did not see them anywhere. I know the least about the inner workings here, maybe someone else will come along with some advice. I just uploaded a picture to see if everything was cool with the gallery and it was easy like always.
Maybe try again if you would, I really like pictures myself.
I see you do have a gallery set up, just nothing in it.

HI Daren,

Hope someone can advise as I've tried about half a dozen times and no joy.

I seem to be able to type in Firefox now though. Having a slightly surreal PC day today!

Cheers

I tried to fix the picture but all I could do is delete the extra 2. Try saving this picture and uploading it.

Willing to bet you are taking the photos with a mobile device like a phone? They have a "correct" way to be held when taking photos that they don't tell you. As long as they are on your phone it doesn't matter, but once you try and upload to the site things get screwy.

For photos you have already taken, upload them to a computer, rotate them once, save, rotate again to the way you want them to face, then save again. This will fix the photo file. For photos taken in the future, try and make sure you hold your camera sideways, with the home button on the right side.

All that said, if I bet wrong and you are using a regular camera, let me know

Some programs are like your phone and will auto-correct for you. The software we use here is not quite so advanced and needs that manual fixing.
