What does your user name mean?

I saw this idea in another forum and thought that it was a neat idea, so I'm going to start it. All of us have user names, but what does your name mean? Is it random or does it have some sort of story behind it?
Okay, I'll explain mine. Well, it's obvious that my name is Ken. Years ago, my wife and I would pass the time by playing a video game called Zelda (maybe some of you with children may have heard of it. ) Well, I needed a character name for the game and in the most silly voice I could muster, I called out "I know, I AM KENBO!!!!" and the name has stuck for years as a user name for several things. I know, it's not exciting, but that's the way it came about.

What does yours mean?

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

If I have to explain mine, then that person has no right using power tools. My first name is Armand, pronounced Armond or Armind. I've answered to either equally my whole life. Middle name's Joseph after the most awesome grandfather I never met...I come from a huge family of first second and third cousins and nobody named their son/s Joseph for the last 30 years. When I finally settled down and was the last of the first cousins to have children, I knew if I had a son what his name would be without reservation. The day my son was born we had no idea what the baby was going to be (didn't care, so we didn't ask) When the doc held that kid up, he looked at me and asked "Hey dad, what's your son's name?" I practically shouted at him with tears in my eyes "His names Joseph!" So the username isn't as simple as just an easy one to come up with...I guess it's a pride thing.

I could explain my user name as a trade name for those that built cabinets a long time ago, several hundred years or so. But that's only one answer.

I got the name from groups of children that would gather outside of an installation site waiting for me to deliver cabinets. As I approached, they all would yell..."Its cabinetman", "It's cabinetman", "It's cabinetman", over and over and over. I swear it was like they were welcoming an ice cream truck.

Mine is my first name (obviously), the first initial of my last name, and my badge number when I was a Sergeant. I used this combination when I first got an AOL account because other, cooler screen names, were taken. It's just stuck ever since. People would sometimes ask if I was a James Bond freak. No, not particularly, but I do admire some of the ladies he's hung around with.

Mines an old nickname from my college fraternity days. Had a 10 second Mustang, white with white Pony rims, and there were these 3 girls who were roommates and loved loud, fast cars ... Oh wait, this is a family oriented forum . Man, I loved that car!

Well, I'm a big Led Zeppelin fan and use this name on this and a few other forums.

I wanted Olympic license plates with a "Stacked" LA and Rich which was unavailable. Later I tried a a "Stacked" US and Rich which was also unavailable. The DMV clerk suggested US RRICH which was available.

That's how RRICH got started.

Well, "newshop" seemed appropriate at the time I joined as I was just in the planning stages of my shop and I was new to the site. I thought it kinda said be gentle with me as I am new and don't have much experience. Now I think it's stupid.

If a MOD is reading please change my user name from newshop to Tim 3.14

That is my name of course and the numbers on my step sons hockey jersey's, both play defence.

We had a 10 foot aluminum boat. I set it in the driveway. it looked like a bucket... a fish bucket.
So we named it that. Had another boat and that was Fishbucket2...
I'm on ( or was alot) on a fishing forum here for N.Cali. I entered as the boat's name. havent had trouble of it being used in all the other forums I'm on now.

I cut it 3 times..... and it's still too short.

Dont go ninja'ing anybody that dont need no ninja'ing...

Normally my screen name on forums is "Sawdust" but that was taken when I joined. SO I went the boring route this time..........."btyirin" for Brian Tyirin. Thats the name they gave me when I came out.

I'd like to think mine was easy enough, but...we lived in the south for so long and it was common to hear kids call their elders by their first name with a Mr. or Miss preceding it.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17

Sad thing is every time someone says something about oldtimers when they are explaining something..... I know what they are talking about.
