Anyway30, what are you thinking?

Cut it twice, measure once and it's still too short.

No need to apologize to me, I remembered when he posted that. Gave me a chuckle when I needed it. Kinda like when he said (either in a post, or a message--I'm not sure) "Biscuits are for eating. Period." I'll forever personally remember him for that.

Turning good wood into designer firewood on a daily basis.....

I never plan my days. "Premeditated" is a word Lawyers love to toss around in courtrooms.

I owe you an apology. Now that it was mentioned I do remember C'man posting the joke.

I did not connect the dots

Cut it twice, measure once and it's still too short.

This is a REAL SHOCK to me...

Mike was my Oldest & Best Internet friend... one of the very 1st people I met on a woodworking forum... We really hit it off!

He was a Hero of mine from the very start... being in the Special Services (elite) Army.

He had knee problems he was putting up with...

He is very Sadly Missed... Big Time... :(

I was wondering what happened to him... He suddenly stopped signing into another forum...

Take care, Mike, RIP... Our prayers are with you and yours whether you like it or not... (He said he was a Realist)...

He was lucky to have so many people who knew him so well and practice the same thing he loves.

It has been awhile since I have been to the forum and just heard of Cabinetman's passing. I want to pass on my condolences and say I always appreciated how much he helped me, or gave a kind word, in my threads and projects. He will be missed. RIP

I do not frequent this forum much. When I do it's because a search or problem led me here.

I'm a novice woodworker. So much so that the word "woodworker" does not apply.

Cabinetman has answered countless questions I've had without even knowing it. I've learned so much from reading his advice on this site.

RIP, Cabinetman.

Hi guys, it's been awhile. I truly am sad to hear about CMs passing. He and I would talk Army sometimes in PM and I truly did appreciate is input. The man is a legend on here and I hope the site can do something to honor him.

My utmost respect to this Vietnam veteran who came home to a country that hated him, and decided to learn and dominate a new trade despite the atmosphere and culture of our country at the time. I'm sure his family is proud.

Well done sir, and thank you for sharing your wisdom with us. I am a better wood worker now and am able to provide for my family better because of men like you who were quick to help a novice learn.
