Haven't been here much lately and then find out one if the most knowledgable folks here has passed. Here's hoping there are no biscuits joiners or pocket screws in heaven. RIP C-man.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

That sucks. I always enjoyed Cabby. I'm actually pretty darn sad to hear this. I don't usually feel sad about these things, but this is hitting me in the feels, as they say.

Hopefully there is a scrolled Welcome! wherever he ended up.

He will be missed for sure. Can't say I knew him personally but he always had an answer or opinion and was a wealth of information. Seemed like every time I did a search on here, his name would pop up with some good information. Going to miss that...prayers to the family....

Pretty sure he has got his workshop in the sky and we will all meet up with him someday.

If it doesn't feel safe, it probably isn't.

I am truly in shock. Cman will be sorely missed by all. Godspeed and sincerest condolences to his family.

It takes many nails to build a crib, but only one screw to fill it

I haven't been here very long, but it doesn't take long to figure out that Cabinetman will be missed around here.

If anyone knew him well enough to have access to this information, I wonder if anyone would like to send something to his family from the forum?

I know that I would appreciate knowing that a loved one of mine had touched many others' lives, even if only in a small way.

If anyone wants to get something together I would be happy to contribute.

I haven't been on the site for a while. Really shocked to read this. I too have been helped by C'man and appreciated and enjoyed his posts. A great loss to the forum and even more so to his family. My condolences to them.

His advice to me over the time I've been on this forum has helped me tremendously.

I didn't know him personally but he was so generous with his knowledge and experience. The woodworking community has lost an incredible person.

Damn.

Rest in Peace Mike.
