kitchen cabinets

As I indicated in this thread: we're getting ready to buy some new kitchen cabinets because I'm too slow to build them myself. We've looked at Ikea (not my first choice) and and now we've looked at and Both cabinetstogo and lowpricekitchens seem to be shipped as flat packs and I assemble the cabinet cases myself. I think the cliqstudios cabinets are delivered assembled, but I'm not sure about that.

Anyone have any first hand experience with any of the three online vendors?

To answer your, I don't have experience with those specific brands. But, it's nice to get assembled cabinets. If you have to assemble, pay close attention to how the hardware works. Most come in bags with a parts list and pictures with numbered parts where they go. If you are organized, layout the hardware for the individual pieces and make sure it's all there.

Be careful in installing the parts, as it's easy to over tighten fasteners. Most will be butt joints.

The cabinetstogo cabinets actually come with these cam-lock things so it's not loose hardware. I don't know about the other manufacturer though. I appreciate the advice either way.

I came within swiping my credit card of buying the cabinets to go cabinets for my kitchen......then I decided to build myself. They were some of the best cabinets in the price range we saw......I was really impressed for the price.
