just curious, what kind of ammo was it? I have had trouble with the flat nose winchester range ammo in 45. my colt will shoot most anything you feed through it from the great big hole hollow points like golden sabres and gold dots to round nose, those flat nose winchesters are the only ones it's ever balked at

Not big on handguns. Prefer long guns. But as far as hand guns go...

Well I wish I could remember the model #, but the Ruger semiauto chambered in .40 s&w is an awfully nice pistol...

As far as revolvers go, I wish I had never sold my old Taurus .357, that was one nice shooting revolver!

I've had an M1911A1, not exactly what I would call accurate, or jam free.

An oddball I once owned was an FEG .32, I think it was made in Romania or someplace like that. Well made pistol, very hard to get ammo for it though...

I can't pick just one. My favorite defense pistol is my Beretta .40 cal. It just fits my hand like no other stock pistol. My favorite target pistol is my Russian Baical IZH-35M. It's a .22 cal so it is cheap to shoot and super accurate. It has a Millett RedDot scope and custom Walther grips. I also sent it to Robar Guns to be completely re-plated. I think it looks pretty awesome.

My carry gun of choice is a S&W M&P 40 cal. It just fits and shoots well for me. I have a 9mm as well in the same model but the wife keeps it most of the time. Then of course I have several others that I like to play with. Most recent is a Ruger Super Black Hawk 44 Mag.
