Blizzard!

The first blizzard hit us today. As alway there is chaos on the roads. Why is it such a surprise that winter comes annually?

I'm with you... I got know Idea how people can do such stupid stuff in the rain and snow, that they would never even dream of when the sun is out and the roads are dry..

I cut it 3 times..... and it's still too short.

Dont go ninja'ing anybody that dont need no ninja'ing...

Down here, we hardly have any bad weather. When it does rain, these folks go rabbit-a$$ nuts. I couldn't imagine what would happen if we actually got a sticking snow!

Universal problem. We get a fair chunk of snow up here as well. As you say, the first one is always met with people who forgot how to drive in it.

A blizzard is the only thing that shuts us down. A snow storm is cleaned up by the morning and we are on our way to work. The first storm, everyones has to relearn how to drive in it, an egg under the pedal.

Its a hassle sometimes...but on the other hand we really don't get earthquakes, wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes, mudslides, and flooding.

We had rain today. I was out on the freeways and it was one of those OMG trips. I came home using surface streets. Almost as bad, it's just that the idiots weren't going as fast.

Why is it that someone in a four wheel drive vehicle assumes that they can go anywhere, anytime and at any speed without a single thought of the consequences of not being able to stop.

Use the right tool for the job.

I keep hearing of this "Snow" thing y'all northern folks keep talking about, but I haven't seen any around here...

Okay that's a lie... It snowed here in 2008, as I was on a plane heading to Cancun Mexico...

And in 2004, again, heading to Mexico...

I think snow shows up here when I leave...

Interested in my woodworking, workshop and whatnot? See http://daves-workshop.blogspot.com, want to see my other interests such as hunting, fishing, off roading, and camping? See http://wildersport-outdoors.blogspot.com

We should be getting that snow thing...instead it was 65 degrees yesterday and we had tornadoes all around us.
