Working on Christmas presents today

For the grandkids . . .
These aren't quite done, bet getting there. Still have another one to make progress on - a firetruck for the other Grandson.

The chess set is very nice and the train is sure to light up some little one's day. Nicely done.

If Woodworking is so much fun why isn't it called WoodFUNNING?

Nice jump on the x-mas presents. That chess board is sweet. And the train is Definitely cute.

They are both very nice. I had a train my grandpa made for me when I was little. Much more simple than yours and made out of 2x lumber but I remember pulling it around by the string. I don't remember what happened to it.
