Tomorrow it will almost be done.

well like the title says. I will have this thing stringed tomorrow if my strings finally arrive. Its a lefty electric upright bass. Unfortunately the music industry decided left handers are not worthy of playing the electric upright bass so I make my own. I have clear colored strings coming, so I will post the pic once done. I hope they look good on it, not sure. It's made out of poplar with watco oil golden oak finish. My favorite combination! I plan to spray a satin finish on it, I kinda ran out of monies....I bought Grover Titan 145 Bass tuning machines for it. The neck is held in place by two 3 and a half inch screws and two 3 inch screws. The neck measures almost 44 inches long 3 inches thick and the body is 19 inches long 2 inches thick. If you have not heard before, it works by using a double bass pickup like the schatten RB-1 and thats it. Works well through a Kustom KXB amplifier. Not that hard to make, just need atleast a 14" inch bandsaw.

thanks again! I would try and sell them, but I don't have my own 14" inch bandsaw, have to use another bandsaw owned by someone else. Need to get one!
