Slot Car Track

I made a few of these in the past....all 1/2'' partical board....






Here is one I made for a guy's basement.....

This is a scale layout of 4x8 sheets that never got built. A portable flat track that could be rearranged into different designes...

Very cool!

So how do you go about cutting out the track slots?

A friend of ours has one that his dad and uncles build back in the early 70's, had a lot of fun racing on it.

Cut the slots with a router and made a jig for the router to cut the brade slots.
