Simple Poplar Journal

made this on a whim, just a simple journal to hold my poems! I used twist ties but need something better.

Looks good. I'd get some leather lacing or copper wire for the binding.

That bowl was perfect right up until that last cut...

As was suggested, raw-hide leather won't scratch any nice wood surfaces, IMO. Super glue the end tips where tied to keep in place.

just bought some faux green suede leather that will work! I got the green color because it goes with the first poem in the journal.
