simple piece

Here is a simple little napkin holder I cut last weekend, then assembled and sprayed a coat of gloss poly this weekend.
An old pattern I have had for many many years, cut from 1/4 inch red oak

sorry fro the pic quality, cell phone pics

And Yes, I know, CHristmas is over, and I still have Christmas napkins

I like that josh. I like the trees on the corner. Nice detail.
Would be very appropriate in my cabin up north.

When it's rustic......it's rustic

Thank you.
The pattern originally had more detail in the corners, but overall made it to long to scan and print the pattern onto a reg sheet of paper, so I deleted some of the detail.
BTW, this piece has no nails, screws or glue. It's all slip joints ( I think that is what they are called)

Yea I can tell by the way the trees are in the corners.
Sometimes the little projects are what we need for instant gratification.
Thumbs up!!!!
