sideboard/buffet

I designed and built this sideboard/buffet to go in our screened porch. Among other things it will hold some of my grilling equipment and I'm sure my wife will fill up the rest of the space with her stuff. It's made from Douglas fir with the main body stained a walnut colour and the top is an edge grain butcher block I made from the same material but left natural to provide some contrast and to match the interior of the porch. The finish is wipe on poly. All done just in time for winter. It will be covered until spring to protect it from the elements.

BTW, what did you line the inside with? Looks sterile like a plastic laminate or is it a paint?
