Returned from traveling today and had some time to make something special for my lovely wife. A 100 year old hand plane, some 200 year old pine, some diluted Cabernet stain, mix with a bit of creativity and behold, the winter rose for Valentine’s Day. Look close, those petals are wood shavings.
