Office In-Box (Corner Post Dovetails)

I made my sis a pen box for xmas, posted here:

For her birthday I made her a matching inbox. The joints actually came out better on this go around. I guess it’s just more experience…







The sides are Poplar. The posts and bottom are oak. I kinda cheated and used oak ply for the bottom. Shhhhhh….

Luckily a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper fits nicely. Whew….

that's gonna look really sweet sitting next to the pen holder you made.
Nickbee, what jig did you use to make your dovetails? Incra? i did a quick scan of the pencil holder and wasn't sure...

Yup I have the incra ultra. In the next day or so I'm going to post a very detailed build along for a lidded box I just made... keep an eye out for it...
