I would be more than happy to help you out or give you advice, however, I'm not sure what your project is.

There is a very fine line between a "hobby" and a "mental illness"

I'm not a scroll sawer so the only advise I can give is go slow, drink plenty of fluids and take several breaks. Try to not overheat. Oh and keep us posted on you progress.

First thing, I wouldn't use plywood for this project. I think that you would be much happier with solid wood. Probably 1/4" thick. Another thing is the opening around the clock......they are pretty large and some frosted plexi might be the thing to finish them off as windows. Another suggestion is to cut all straight edges on the panels using a table saw to get a nice clean edge and then do the scrolling after you dry fit your pieces. Depending on what clock insert you choose, cut the hole inside the lines and sand to fit the clock. You don't want a loose fitting clock insert.
If I think of anything else, I'll be sure to post it.
If you have any questions.......feel free to ask.
Ken

Talking my next project

Thanks Kenbo I like the idea of solid stock however the plan from wildwood design specifies 1/4 inch stock. Do you know of a source? I was going to use 1/4 Baltic Birch. Also I had thought I had mastered the photo uploads but i sent my Sister a couple of pics using same resizing format and she received but can't open. So I have no idea if they are visible to Forum members as well? can you open them? Pleas let me know on both matters your help will be very much appreciated
