Medal display box

Thought I would share my latest project!

Made out of walnut with a custom carved lid and a removable medal tray. Got a few more pictures in the album, hope you guys like it!

Excellent work. When I got to the finished work I did not recognize the wings or medals. Had to go back and see that you were from Sweden and that explained it.



Is the skull symbolic of anything?

Thank you! Yes it's a mix of stuff that I borrowed. There is a pair of US freefall wings in it at least:D

This is the first of two boxes, the second one is commissioned and is going to have a veneer pattern so I gave myselfe the freedom to carve whatever fell in mind with this one!
