Mantle clocks for market

These are a few clocks I did for a market. They are all really basic and easy to make but they proved very popular to my surprise. Basic design, I just tried to make the wood the feature. I finished them all with two coats of bri-wax. Some of the timbers used are spalted beech, yew, Irish walnut, bog oak.

Sorry my phone is doing crazy things here. I will try and post some pics again. Sorry I can't seem to rotate some of the photos.

Very nice looking clocks. You never know what will turn out to be popular... Some of those have very nice looking pieces of finished wood.

Nice work John,
have you tried any with a slightly larger clockface? Just a thought.

Likewise on the larger faces.
I do like em very much. The burl is exquisite in grain and color.

Sorry lads been busy the last few days. Yeah I tried to get some larger faces, bit hard to find at the right price in Dublin at the moment. There is a huge amount of the smaller faces available for 5euro each. Since I'm only selling them for 20euro a pop a fiver is probably enough to be spending. Thanks for the questions and comments. Cheers.
