Live Edge Coffee Table

This was the first time gluing together a live edge top. I had one board, cut it in half and ripped off one edge, jointed and glued back to make wide top. its right at 19 inches wide and about 45+/- long. About 18 tall

Nice looking top! Have you thought about what finish you will be adding?

Good grain orientation as well. What wood is it? It looks like some typical flat sawn grain it some spots and in others like there is no grain...just speckles.

Yep. Special Walnut by Minwax and Soar Varnish sanded b/w coats

Pine. Flat sawn. Black spots are from pine beetles. don't worry tho the pine beetles are long gone by the time of the milling process. after they've done their damage they leave.
