Lawn bench with lattice work

I have made this lawn bench by joining over 600 small and large pieces of scrap wood, and mounted on a steel channel girder cemented to the lawn floor. The lattice work is connected together by 1/4" steel wire. It took me more than 2 months of working mostly with hand tools. I have to put a final top coat of paint and protective polish.

What a great use of your scraps... and time (2 mo). It's unique and probably comfortable. I'm a retired Teamster (truck driver) and I remember a seat cover made of wooden beads. Some of the drivers liked them.

Its' never hot or cold in New Hampshire... its' always seasonal.

Thanks Bernie. It is indeed very comfortable (although doesn't look like that). I dozed off on it this morning . It is 5' long and 1-1/2' wide and great for lazing in the sun.
