Large wall clock

Just finished and hung this clock I made for my wife tonight. It was a first time doing many things that will be used down the road.

Edit. The photo doesn't show how big this clock is.



Here it is on my work bench before I added the movement.

why didn't you put the 4 5 6 7 on right ? other wise clock looks good

I just wanted them to be all outward from the center.

Most clock faces don't do it that way, however there is one way where it might work fine.... have the hands stay still and have the body of the clock rotate. I haven't thought this through, it just came to me .... it may not work, but I've never seen it done that way. Clocks are fun projects for sure, nice work. :smile3:

what a brilliant idea! make the face rotate!

i made a clock, but i havent made numbers for it. and it is not round. i havent advanced to a circle yet! i do good to cut a straight line

I think it would have to have two rotating faces. One for the hours, the other for the minutes. It could be interesting.
