Folding Picnic Table

This was the first thing I ever really made. I made it last summer with a jigsaw and circular saw. Boy I wish I had my table saw and compound miter saw back then!

This project got me interested in woodworking. Please feel free to criticize!

Hey now that's a cool design.
How did you come up with that?

When it's rustic......it's rustic

I'm not that clever I saw a plan for it. The plan was terrible. I had to guess the angles (they were not included). Getting it perfectly level was a real PITA. Had to keep shimming and sanding. I put it on a level brick patio and it is very level (hard to tell with the picture)

I left it in NH to stay with my cabin. I am going to build a different one here.

Thanks! I started on my next project today. A greenhouse (12' x 10') More carpentry than woodwork but it helps me getting use to my tools. The inside will be custom made.

That is very unique and clever. Well done indeed. Are you putting any kind of finish on it?
