Few pics of some thinga iv made.

Made a few bits of furniture last year so I thought I'd put them up.
They are all made out of pine as I rely like the colour of pine when it's finished and its the best price and there varnished with a water based varnish to stop from turning orange.

Bedroom first.
I like to see the joints where possible and I thought the exposed finger joints on the drawers would look good. Turned out quiet good.
Only problem with is its the first real large piece iv made and I didn't get the final frame squared of right so the front is just a bit off square.

Also made two bed side lockers with the same exposed fingers to match the chest of drawers above.

The last thing in the bedroom I did was a small wast bin with the left over wood.

This it a hall table but it was made to hold a snake tank in my bedroom originally. That's why it also has exposed finger joints on the drawers.

Finally I made few things for my living room.
This is a side table for a soda that I made to also act as a inside dog house for my small dog. It's been renegaded now to the back room as the dog had a good chew at it.

And finally just a book shelf to hold a small stereo.

Well that's about it so far. I have made other things but this is probably the best.

Great work! I like the exposed finger joints too. Adds a lot of character. It's easy to forget how nice pine can look in a furniture project. Hardwoods seem to get all the glory

Well there just fingers, nothing elaborate like dovetails.

That's very impressive! Your projects are all wonderful. Nice choice of wood and finish, very pleasing to me.

That's not half bad! I have an order for a dog crate like that from my daughter for her pug. I like the bedroom set very much. If anyone notices the chest of drawers being a bit off square, tell them it's a feature.
