Coffee table and end tables for a customer

Got an order for these tables from a friend and customer. I made him a book case out of Hickory last year. Sliding dovetailed the skirts and will be dovetailing the drawers.

Looking good.

I have some hickory in the shop but have not worked with it yet. How is it to work with?

John.

The hickory works pretty well but it is hard router bits. Pretty hard wood, I used pin nails to put the back on the book case and they just bent. Lol pre drill :-)

Finally finished the tables, friend really liked them. Here a few pic of the finished product hope you enjoy. I know they are pretty basic as far as some of the other builds I have seen in the project showcase, but I am learning. (sorry about pics could figure out how to rotate them)

Those look real nice! Theres nothing wrong with basic. I like the design on the legs, it's simple and makes them look really nice. I might steal your idea lol.
