Ok, I can't take credit for this but I thought it was noteworthy. This picture was the best in show winner in the woodworking category at the Manheim PA farmshow. This just blows my mind. Every tile is its own piece of wood.
Yep that's cool. What popped into my little pea brain PK was that the pieces are t&g on alternating sides or better yet splined. Assembly was probably tricky right at the end!
I wonder if was made with a CNC router that would take the fun out of it.
I don't know how it is put together but the angles would have to be perfect for this to work. It looked almost too good to be anything other than CNC but I guess anything is possible.
yeah that is quite something at first I never even realized it was wood. haha
