bamboo kitchen cabinets

This is another kitchen I did for customers who had a straw bale house built. They wanted bamboo cabinets with horizontal grain orientation, and a somewhat sleek design. It's a bit stripey for my own tastes, but for what it is, it came out pretty well. I had the builder install some hefty lumber in the walls where I would need to hang the upper cabinets, so they are not only stoutly constructed, but secured to the wall very firmly.

A whole lot of innovation goin' on .....

I see many examples of creative thinking in those photos! Nice work.
I like how the drawer is angled on the right side. Never saw that before. Nice iron work on the snack bar supports also. How thick are the walls in the bale house?

If I remember correctly, I think they are about 2' thick.
