Ash Coffee table

I just completed this ash 'rough sawn' coffee table. The legs are hard ,maple, with black India ink. The table is 40" by 60".

The customer requirement was to leave the saw marks in, and give it that rustic look. It still took a lot of sanding to make it smooth, but stopping before those saw marks were gone. Stained it with Minwax Mahogany and 5 coats of General Finishes Satin poly.

I should have wiped the dust of before snapping the photo.

Thanks for looking.

Neat looking table - nice job! Hey, if the customer wants it rough then that's the right way to do it.
