Woodmaster 718 Molder/Planer

Any thoughts on the Woodmaster 718 Molder/Planer with the Pro Pack?
There are a few YouTube Videos about this machine but they seem like they are infomercials by Woodmaster.
I live in Kentucky and the New Home Builders are doing quite well, not much of a recession here, do you think there is a market for selling Custom Molding to the builders?
If the YouTube Vidros are truthful about the cost to produce the molding I can definitely be competitive.
I am new, very new & green just starting out. There are many tools I'd like to get but would like to do something that will help pay for them.
On YouTube there is a guy claiming to have made 96K his 1st yr doing this. I know there is always the exception & I'd be happy if I could make a few grand a month.
What are you thoughts?
Thanks for your help with this post & the others you've helped me with.

The Woodmaster is a good machine, but whether you can be successful selling moulding would depend on a lot of factors. You can rig a guide board to make multiple mouldings at a time. I doubt seriously you can compete with millwork shops that have multi head moulders. If the contractors are buying standard mouldings it would be hard to beat those prices.

I have made custom mouldings from custom made knives that the client pays a premium for. But, it's a lot of work to get it all right.

A lot of dinosaurs are going out of business now because they can't keep competitive with the high production companies. Call arround to your local builders and ask them what they are looking for and what they are willing to pay, they may not be totally honest with you but you'll have a good idea where you stand. Do your own footwork don't listen to someone who's trying to sell you a machine that has probably never run one. Just because he ran 96K through his account doesn't mean he even put 5% of that in his pocket. JMO
