What do you guys think of this. Craftsman saw with built in router mount. 300.00 bucks. I told the man I will make my decision soon:
I could not find out much about it doing a search, Sears Model 315.228390. BTW: I have a Bosch router, do the whole normalll line up?

The saw was made by TTI/Ryobi between 1997 and 2004....pretty much the same saw as the Emerson and TTI/Ryobi made Ridgid contractor saws. The rust will come off pretty nicely, but is a good bargaining point if you wanted to offer a bit less.

Router holes are not standard, but there are several simple work arounds....I wouldn't base the TS decision on it.

So, a good deal? I am in no rush. The router part is attractive to me for two reasons: I can use it as my router table. And if later on I build a dedicated router table this is more bench space for me to work with. As far as a bargaining point I already asked the guy if he can deliver it for me since I have no way of getting it to my house.

BTW: Thanks for the reply.

Including delivery, I'd say it's a decent deal. Seems fair to both of you....not one of those gloatable steals, but a reasonable acquisition considering it has the router table, good fence, and built in mobile base. Be sure it runs well.

Blade selection and setup will largely determine the end performance.
